MANATEES….. IN….. SPAAAAAAAACE!
MANATEES….. IN….. SPAAAAAAAACE!
Cool picture!
Yes, if you’re a science buff, you can get a little rush from the rest of the explanation here, but in the meantime, there’s a neat comparison picture of this nebula and our favorite sea creature.

Operation Manatee, version 0.2
Here we go again! Another opportunity to listen to Operation Manatee on 91.3 CJTR, Regina Community Radio! This time we’re filling in from 11am to noon tomorrow (Sunday), January 27.
I can think of few better ways that to get up on a Sunday morning, relax with a cup of coffee of your favorite flavor and get started with your day, the Operation Manatee way!! There are three ways to listen… tune your knob to 91.3 FM in the Queen City, stream online from http://www.cjtra.ca or find an app on your mobile device and listen in (TuneIn from the Apple App Store carries CJTR).
People Are Awesome 2013
Hey everyone,
Quickly checking in with a little video to pop with your peepers. The song isn’t terrible here… little dub-stepping so you’re warned. But the video clips are really cool and it fits with the theme of the song.
The little skateboarding boy in the middle is fantastic! You’ll see what I mean.
Operation Manatee takes over Regina Community Radio!
That’s right, Regina. When things go wrong and it seems like the world is coming to a brutal, horrible, community radio-less death, they call us: Operation Manatee – and while we may not save the world, we will at least save you from pop radio.
Chris and Cory have lined up a batch of great music (mostly new rock, some electro, little bit of weirdness and other selections)! It’ll be spectacular!
We’ll be making our radio debut (at least, as Operation Manatee) filling in for The Conductor in Black (The Prairie Lilly Special) from 6:00 to 8:00 tonight. Be sure to tune in and turn it up!Continue reading “Operation Manatee takes over Regina Community Radio!”
IT BEGINS!!!
Well… it’s not the “official” beginning of Operation Manatee on 91.3 CJTR, but it’s going to be a sneak preview of sorts!
Chris and I will be “filling in” on 91.3 CJTR tomorrow evening, Saturday, January 19 from 6-8 pm. Yes… I will be voluntarily giving up time I could be watching a hockey game, but we’ll be testing out the format ideas that will eventually become the finalized Manatee project!!
If you’re out of town, remember, you can stream CJTR on your computer at http://www.cjtr.ca or if you have an i-Device thingy, you can find CJTR on an app called “TuneIn”. I know nothing more of apps for other devices…
I’M SO EXCITED I COULD WET MYSELF!!! MAYBE I’LL DO THAT ON AIR!!! YOU’LL HAVE TO TUNE IN TO HEAR!!!!

Top 5 Reasons I Would Love To See Man Man In Concert
1. Looks like a really fun time!
2. There is some pretty fantastic moustache going on in that band.
3. They play a strange assortment of percussion instruments/noisemakers.
4. I’ve heard they really know how to involve an audience.
5. It’s better than a punch in the face (unless that punch came from someone cool like Will Smith)
